PhotoShine is a simple, neat, and straightforward application that lets you easily create photo collages from your own pictures. It's a very easy-to-use program that doesn't require its users to have any experience in graphic design in order to be able to create photo collages. The simple and intuitive interface can be used with ease by anybody, including complete beginners. The fact that it comes with handy collage templates, with various themes like love, baby, magazine cover, etc. also makes this tool easy to use.
PhotoShine also offers some basic editing functions, allowing you to resize and frame the photos, but simplicity remains its main characteristic. There are no intricate settings or advanced features, and all the main functions are in plain sight, easy to access at anytime. PhotoShine enables you to embed one of your photos into one of the provided templates, which is often enough to create decent-looking photo collages. For those wanting more precise editing functions or more professional-looking, high-quality final collages, PhotoShine is not exactly the tool suitable for that job. It's also quite pricey, considering its utter simplicity. Furthermore, its interface looks seriously outdated and it can't even be properly resized.
To sum it all up, I was expecting its latest updates to make this tool a more attractive choice for creating photo collages, but, as far as I'm concerned, it's still rather disappointing.
